The Industrial Pump Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, gathering and analyzing technical data, reviewing customer applications/installations, effectively communicating product updates and new product releases. This role is essential in building and maintaining libraries of technical information to ensure that our customers and sales team receive the best support possible. Provide periodic training to internal staff and distributors as needed. The Industrial Pump Technical Support Specialist will also provide application engineering services, and technical support to all authorized Summit Pump distributors, RSMs (Regional Sales Managers) and sales staff thorough review of customer RFQs and specifications, design review, material/pump selection and pricing/delivery information. Offer design alternatives to meet or exceed customer’s applications and to maximize margin and reliability.
